Majd's Story

I was approached by Majd a young 14 year old girl in the Palestinian Village of Jifna. She began to speak to me, after a while i asked her if I could record our conversation. She was so amazing in her commentary of the occupation, I decided to make this into a documentary. We arranged to have access to a Television studio editing suite in Ramallah one night, so with the help of an editor we made this film. I wanted to have some music and on my ipod was music by my Friend Jocelyn Pook, which we added. We showed the film in the Village Hall, but only after showing it to Majd and her family. I asked permission to show this outside Palestine. I gave Majd the copyright to this film. Its her story.
